Transparency and accuracy in the development of FMEA! Boundary and P-Diagrams provide valuable support for this. FMEA facilitators, but also development engineers and planners from manufacturing and quality assurance, love using these simple “tools” for the following tasks:
- Determining the system boundaries of the object of analysis
- Visualizing system structures
- Identifying interfaces
- Describing functions more accurately
- Identifying “noise and control factors” at an early stage.
Boundary and Block Diagrams can be developed without having to use special software tools, in the simplest case with paper and pencil, and can provide a strong sounding board for team communications and innovative creativity.
This DC ONLINE event provides the knowledge and skills necessary to apply these Block Diagrams.
Participants will learn how to develop and apply Boundary and Parameter Diagrams in the context of development projects. The second goal of this DC ONLINE event is to use their content as a starting point and content for D-FMEA.
