    Rene Sickinger is an internal FMEA moderator at Mercedes-Benz Group AG and is responsible for FMEA as FMEA manager and moderator for HV charging systems.     Oliver Mannuß heads the Sustainable Product and Process Development research team in the Sustainable Value Creation Systems research area at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA).
    A central component of the research team's scientific work is the application of FMEA and its integration into the product development process, as well as its application to different types of companies. Another focus is the adaptation of FMEA to different target requirements, e.g., using KV-FMEA to predict the availability of machines and systems in production systems, or using eFPM to estimate quality costs and the impact on the CO2 footprint in process development.
    In addition, as CE coordinator, he oversees the safety of machines and systems that are placed on the market as part of research and industrial projects, including risk assessments in accordance with EN 12000.
