Preview: 12th annual FMEA-Forum in Osnabrueck on the 29th & 30th of March 2017

With innovative solutions for Failure detection and Effect analysis and an interactive participation of the participants, this year's forum is once again a milestone around current trends and future requirements.

The FMEA Forum has developed the most important platform for the exchange of experience between users and experts. Host Winfried Dietz, Dietz Consultants, will present the event with a lecture on the diversity and best practice of FMEAs. He will report on which 5 key factors are important for an exemplary FMEA.

Dr. Alexander Schloske, Fraunhofer Institute for Production Engineering and Automation IPA will show in his presentation the success factors from 30 years of FMEA practice. Here, models of thought are discussed, moderation aids are presented and the practical implementation is reported.

Dr. Andreas Braasch from the Institute for Quality and Reliability Management, in collaboration with Patrick Glöckner of BPW Bergische Achsen KG, reports on the change from the OEM to the full-service provider in the area of reliability management. The practical contribution shows application examples and points to the limits to which the conventional QM methods meet.

Another lecture deals with the possibility of failure and effect in the area of a cult product in the household appliance sector.
Dr. Benedict Sommerhoff, German Society for Quality, reports on agile quality management in the field of FMEA.

Further lectures and interactive presentations will help the participants to make the most of their daily work.
