Advanced quality planning

Advanced Product Quality Planning. APQP is a structured procedural model of advanced quality planning and represents techniques for optimized product and process development from the prototype to series production in a suitable logic.

Alongside fault-free series production, APQP objectives also include reducing development times and costs using the systematic approach.

Advanced product quality planning includes standardized tools such as FMEA, flow chart and control plan, the application of which within a project can vary in terms of time, but ultimately should always lead to high product quality and thus customer satisfaction.

APQP takes into account all phases of product development (quality gates, milestones) from project planning and design and process development, its validation to approval and series production, and thus the completion of the project.
