One Piece Flow

Often referred to as "Single-Piece Flow", a production organization, which is in the position to produce different product variants on one line.

The manufacturing systems are in a position to switch freely between different product configurations. With that a "one" lot is produced and only the respective product flows to the customer along the value chain within the company.
