Design of Experiments

Design of Experiment (DoE) pursues the goals of generating as much knowledge as possible about the interactions of process parameters and the process results with as few experiments as possible.

Design of Experiments (DoE) can be understood to be a toolkit for developing targeted experimental plans. This, in turn, has the requirement of minimizing the experimental workload due to significant cost relevance and the restricted time resources, which are always limited in a project. The knowledge acquired from the performed experiments is used to select and control the interacting product properties and process parameters in such a way that the required robustness is present in order to achieve insensitivity to the expected noise factors (variability and disruption).
