Continuous improvement process (CIP) is a mindset that aims to increase the competitiveness of the company in small steps with continuous improvements.

CIP refers to the quality of products, processes, and services. CIP is implemented by small continuous improvement steps as part of the teamwork process (in contrast to innovation in the form of major fundamental innovations). CIP is a basic principle of quality control and a firm element of ISO 9001. The creation of Kaizen suggestions by the CIP team is often summarized in the company’s recommended system in the language of managing algorithmic ideas.
